Nixon Wrinkle Ranch
Allenford, Ontario
Chinese Shar-Pei
We’re Jeff and Sherrie Nixon — lifelong dog lovers and proud founders of Nixon Wrinkle Ranch. Alongside our daughters, Jorden and Jenna, we’re passionate about raising and showcasing exceptional Chinese Shar-Pei. Our journey with this unique breed began nearly 30 years ago as devoted pet owners. In 2016, we entered the world of conformation dog shows, and our foundation female, Ch Taipan Palace Miss Ryley LC, opened the door to what would become a meaningful breeding program. Ryley’s dignified charm, loyalty, and hilarious “agility runs” quickly stole our hearts and the hearts of judges across Canada. In 2019, Ch Gumby’s Flew the Cooper Buoy NTD joined our family and brought his own flair — winning titles before turning a year old and breaking stereotypes by loving to swim! Cooper’s joy, loyalty, and success in the ring have made him an incredible addition to our home and program. At Nixon Wrinkle Ranch, we breed for health, temperament, and breed standards, with no more than two thoughtfully planned litters per year. All our dogs are CKC registered, health tested (including SPAID and Glaucoma), and OFA certified for hips and elbows. Puppies are raised in our home using the Puppy Culture Program, with 24/7 care, socialization, and early foundational training. We are proud members of the Canadian Kennel Club, Chinese Shar-Pei Club of Canada, and founding members of the Chinese Shar-Pei Club of Ontario. Our Shar-Pei are beloved family members — they sleep on our beds, join us at dinner, and are never kenneled or isolated. We expect the same level of love and care from our puppy families and offer ongoing support for every pup we place. We welcome your interest and would be happy to chat further about our breeding program and upcoming litters.

Avanti Dobermans
Hamilton, ON
Doberman Pinscher

Welcome to Avanti Dobermans, a small, boutique breeder dedicated to preserving and celebrating the remarkable Doberman Pinscher.

Our dogs are family-first, raised in our home alongside my partner and son, where they are an active and cherished part of everyday life. At Avanti, our breeding program is built on a foundation of health, sound temperament, structure, and breed type, with the goal of producing exceptional companions that honour the Doberman Breed Standard.

My name is Joanne Lusted, and my passion for dogs began long before I ever owned one. Around the age of ten, I borrowed an illustrated children’s book from our local library about training your new puppy—my determined (though unsuccessful) attempt to convince my parents that I was ready for a dog of my own. That childhood dream finally became reality in 2010 when my first dog—and first Doberman— Reyna came into my life. From that moment, I was captivated by the world of dogs. I immersed myself in learning about canine training, nutrition, dog sports, conformation, and, most importantly, the Doberman breed itself.

Years of research and dedication eventually led me to Denise Kamine of A-List Dobermans in Hartland, Wisconsin. What began as a shared passion quickly grew into a lasting friendship, mentorship, and extended family bond. Anyone involved in breeding quality dogs will tell you that great mentorship is invaluable.

Much of my growth, knowledge, and success has been shaped by Denise’s guidance, support, and trust. I am deeply grateful not only for her mentorship, but also for the opportunity to co-own and co-breed some of our most beloved dogs together.

You will notice the A-List prefix alongside our Avanti prefix in many of our dogs—a reflection of the collaborative relationship we share as we continue to breed, show, and promote Dobermans in both Canada and the United States. I am proud to be an active member of multiple breed and kennel organizations, including the Canadian Kennel Club, Doberman Pinscher Club of Canada, Doberman Pinscher Club of America, Doberman Pinscher Club of Greater Milwaukee, and the Greater Mid-Ontario Doberman Fanciers Club. At Avanti Dobermans, we are passionate about preserving the integrity, beauty, and versatility of this incredible breed while placing healthy, well-rounded puppies into loving homes.

We’re honored to share our love for Dobermans with you. Welcome to Avanti Dobermans, and thank you for visiting.

Bounce English Springer Spaniels
Sudbury, Ontario
English Springer Spaniels
ABOUT BOUNCE ENGLISH SPRINGERS Our journey in springers started with a beautiful liver and white springer that was rescued from the local dog shelter, an amazing dog from day one, we could never figure out why she ended up in a shelter in the first place. When we lost her, our family was devastated, and it did not take us very long to decide that we needed to bring another dog into our house and the decision was unanimous it HAD to be a springer. We were a young family and “we only wanted a pet” so our search began for our new family member. Since I was new to the world of dogs, I had no idea how to find a good breeder, I had no idea what questions to ask them to be sure our new pet would be healthy, besides we really didn’t want to spend a fortune” we were just looking for a pet…a family dog, not a show dog!!” Dodger came home to us on Canada Day in 2007, he was an awesome addition to our family, our girls fell in love immediately, now our lives were complete again. Somewhere around the 2-year mark Dodger had his first seizure, I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of terror coming from my girls. We waited out the seizure and after a while Dodger was his normal self, off to the vet the next day and a diagnosis of epilepsy. We spent tens of thousands of dollars over the next 4 years, trips to specialists to keep the seizures at bay, medicating 4 times a day with 3 different medications. All this was to no avail when one horrible August evening the seizures began and in a matter of hours, he experienced 10 to 12 seizures that we could not stop even with the use of valium. We made the hardest decision of our life that day and ended his suffering at only 6 years old. I was mad. The woman who sold me this beautiful dog would not answer my emails or phone calls, she wanted no part of hearing the issues we had. THIS moment was the catalyst that started our journey into well-bred pure-bred dogs.

LochMarch Kennels
Ottawa, ON
Labrador Retriever, French Bulldog
We have been breeding and showing Labrador Retrievers for 28 years. We have a love for this breed that takes me back to my childhood growing up with a black labrador, Snoopy. Mike and I got our first Labrador, Chelsea in 1996. Chelsea received her obedience title at 6 months and was a Canadian Champion shortly thereafter. We continued on and showed 53 Labradors to their Canadian Champions as recognized under the Canadian Kennel Club; including the number 1 Labrador Retriever in Canada for conformation in 2006. Many of our Labradors have obedience, hunting and agility titles proving how versatile they can be. Lots have gone into therapy work and most importantly all of them are wonderful family pets. We breed the English type Labradors which are a stockier build and shorter in stature and calmer Labradors than the taller, leaner and high drive “field or American” type Labradors. The most satisfying part of our passion, is when we place our puppies into the hands of their loving families—this is a truly gratifying experience. Our breeding philosophy is to follow our passion and raise healthy, beautiful conformation French Bulldogs. Our breeding program will include breeding to the best quality with appropriate health clearances and exceptional temperaments producing wonderful family pets. English Springer Spaniel

My love affair with the English Springer Spaniel began while I was in high school working as a veterinary technician. One of our clients repeatedly brought in some of the most beautiful dogs I had ever seen. I finally got the nerve to ask if I could buy one from her, and she found me a sweet girl named Samantha looking for a home. Sam taught me a lot and produced my first litter. From this litter, a girl named Chelsea began my journey with obedience and conformation and all a springer can do.

Now, after over 40 years I am proud of the many accomplishments achieved by Bryden dogs and their owners. I still continue to produce a couple of litters per year and have come closer and closer to making that nearly perfect dog. I have been blessed to incorporate some outstanding pedigrees into my breedings and want to thank all those that helped me get to this level of producing top dogs. This is "Buddy" at 10 months. Champion Bryden's Walk The Line. In his first week of showing in Canada, he captured 5 Best Sporting puppy in group, 3 All Breed Best Puppy in Show, won an All Breed Sweepstakes, was Best Puppy at the ESSCC National Specialty and the Best Puppy in Sweepstakes as well. His first venture to the US at 7 months netted him a 4-point major win and was followed up by winning the breed twice and a Sporting Group Third at 9 months of age. He completed both his American Championship and Grand Championship and won the Dallas Fort Worth Springer Specialty as well. In Canada, he won the Canadian Nationals in 2012 and Best Of Opposite in 2013, along with an Award of Merit in 2014.

My breeding philosophy focuses on producing healthy dogs, with good temperaments who are well rounded and able to enjoy a variety of activities. One of my favorite things about the breed is how versatile that they are. I feel very strongly in having all my breeding dogs fully health tested (links provided to their OFA pages on each dog's page), and I also enjoy participating in a variety of sports with my personal dogs. Our favourite sports are certainly field work, agility and scent detection. I started showing Weimaraners in high school after being offered the opportunity to horse-back ride in exchange for barn chores. While there, I had the opportunity to become involved with the beautiful Weimaraner breed and start to learn about breeding and the purebred dog fancy. I have been involved in the breed for around 20 years, and have recently made the transition into breeding my own dogs under the prefix Wynder (pronounced Win-der). My first personally bred litter was produced from a bitch that was leased, a full sister to my male. Her name is CH Instar Victoria's Secret. I bred "Venus" as she is affectionately known, to "Cervelo", who is a multiple champion and grand champion, and also won the Canadian Weimaraner National Specialty in 2011 (BISS/BIS/BIF Can/Am GCH/ Int. CH RoseWin Anson's Cervelo). I did co-breed a few litters prior to that, but they were not raised in my home. There was one "pick" female I retained to show, named "Vedder" (named after Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam) and her registered name is Wynder's Beneath the Waves. In only her third time in the ring, Vedder won Best Baby Puppy in Show, against a strong entry of over 35 other baby puppies! She has earned over 25 titles. I am continuing on my program with her daughter Mako who lives with me. I am a small-scale breeder. Bronwyn is a member in good standing with the following clubs: Muskoka & District Kennel Club Weimaraner Club of America (WCA) Canadian Kennel Club
