Privacy Policy

PAW Privileges ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy describes what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using pawrewards.com or our mobile apps (the "Service"), you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash, account type (pet parent, breeder, partner), language preference.
• Profile data you provide: dog details, kennel name, business details, photos, and your approximate discovery location (city/province) used to show nearby listings — this is separate from walk location data below.
• Walk location data: when you start a walk we record precise GPS location continuously, including while the app is in the background or your screen is locked, so we can draw your route and calculate distance and duration. Tracking starts only when you start a walk and stops when the walk ends or you cancel it.
• Usage data: pages visited, partner profiles viewed, offers redeemed, device/browser type, IP address.
• Payment data: processed by PayPal. We never see or store your card details.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the Service (accounts, listings, rewards).
• Display partner offers and award Treats based on your activity.
• Send transactional emails (account, receipts, reminders) and, with your consent, newsletters.
• Detect abuse, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: our infrastructure providers (Supabase, Cloudflare), PayPal for payments, and analytics (Statcounter) in aggregated form. We disclose information when required by law.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from your dashboard at any time (Settings → Delete account), or by emailing privacy@pawrewards.com. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, listings, reviews, and rewards.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted accounts are removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records).

Location data during walks

Why: when you start a walk we record precise GPS location continuously, including in the background or with the screen locked, to draw your route and calculate distance and duration for your walk history. Retention: walk routes are kept with your walk history while your account is active and are deleted with your account within 30 days, consistent with the retention section above. Sharing: walk location is not sold and is not shared with third parties for advertising. Turning it off: end the walk, or revoke the location permission in your device settings (iPhone: Settings → Paw Rewards → Location; Android: Settings → Apps → Paw Rewards → Permissions → Location).

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
