Paw Rewards – Rewards & Redemption Terms

These terms explain how Treats work in Paw Rewards, the free owner app within the Paw Privileges ecosystem, and what to expect when you redeem a reward. The short version: 10,000 Treats = $10.00 CAD in reference redemption value, Treats are not cash, and reward availability and fulfillment can change.

1. Treats and their value

  • 10,000 Treats = $10.00 CAD reference redemption value (each Treat has a reference value of $0.001 CAD).
  • Treats are promotional loyalty points. They are not cash, currency, stored value, property or a bank balance.
  • Treats cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged for cash or redeemed outside Paw Rewards unless a specific offer expressly says otherwise.
  • There is no cash change or cash refund for unused Treats.

2. Eligibility and your account

  • You need an active Paw Rewards account to earn and redeem Treats. Joining is free.
  • Redemptions depend on your account standing, available Treats balance, eligibility requirements, household or account limits and, where reasonably required, verification.
  • Fraud, abuse, manipulation, duplicate accounts, automated activity or attempts to exploit the program can lead to a cancelled redemption, reversed Treats, suspension or removal from the program.

3. Reward availability

  • Rewards are available while supplies last. Quantities can be limited, and a reward can sell out or be removed without notice.
  • Images are illustrative where applicable. Packaging, size, colour, flavour, model, formulation or other non-material details may change.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after you redeem it, we may offer a comparable substitute, return your Treats or provide another reasonable resolution.

4. Shipping & Fulfillment

  • Rewards are processed and shipped on Tuesdays and Fridays.
  • Ground shipping is sent via Canada Post.
  • Delivery times vary by destination, carrier volume, weather, service disruptions and other carrier conditions. Delivery estimates are not guarantees.
  • If a specific reward lists a different shipping method or explicitly includes free shipping, that reward's listing governs that item. Not every reward ships free; Gift a Memory Box includes free shipping.
  • Physical rewards need a complete and accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses, recipient unavailability or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
  • If a shipment arrives damaged or goes missing, please tell us promptly so we can review it and work toward a resolution.
  • Geographic and shipping restrictions may apply to individual rewards.

5. Sponsor and third-party rewards

  • Some rewards and offers are provided by sponsors or other third parties.
  • Product warranties, service terms, booking availability, age or size restrictions and the provider's own policies may apply.
  • Paw Rewards facilitates the redemption, but products and services supplied by a third party remain subject to that provider's applicable terms where relevant.

6. Returns and refunds

  • Treat redemptions are generally final once fulfilled or shipped, except where required by law or where we determine an item was defective, damaged, incorrect, unavailable or otherwise needs correcting.
  • There is no cash refund for Treat redemptions.
  • If a redemption is cancelled before fulfillment, where cancellation is permitted, the Treats can be returned to your account.

7. Taxes and fees

  • Any applicable taxes, shipping charges, deposits, fees or other costs that are not included in a reward will be disclosed before or as part of redemption. If none are shown, none are charged for that redemption.

8. Changes to the program

  • To the extent permitted by applicable law, Paw Privileges may change, add, remove, suspend, replace, limit or discontinue rewards, redemption thresholds, earning opportunities, Treat values, inventory, partner participation, shipping and fulfillment rules, eligibility criteria or the Rewards program itself at any time.
  • Changes generally apply going forward and may be made without prior notice where permitted. Nothing in these terms overrides your rights under applicable consumer protection law.
  • The reward listing and terms displayed at the time you redeem govern that redemption, subject to applicable law.
  • We may correct obvious pricing, Treats or technical errors and cancel or reverse affected transactions, restoring Treats where appropriate.

9. No guarantee of availability

  • Taking part does not guarantee that a particular reward will remain available long enough for you to redeem it.
  • Collecting Treats does not reserve inventory.

10. Legal

  • These terms are subject to applicable laws in Canada and form part of the Paw Privileges Terms of Service.
  • Our responsibility is limited only to the extent the law allows. These terms do not waive any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
