Why this breed

I was introduced to the breed at the very young age of 8. As a child I fell in love with the breed and have owned them ever since. I started breeding Doberman in 2000. The breed has been a lifelong passion of mine.

What sets us apart

We do not breed our Doberman for commercial reasons. We breed because of our great passion and commitment to the breed. Our commitment being to enhance the Doberman, by breeding health tested parents to produce well-bred puppies, ensuring the qualities of health, longevity, temperament, character and conformation are enhanced or maintained. We breed from European and South and North American bloodlines. We don't breed our dogs before they have reached the age of two years, allowing them to mature physically and mentally. Each of the dogs who we consider for breeding are fully health tested. This can include testing for Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Von Willebrands Disease, Thyroid Disease, Eye Disease and Heart Disease. Most of our females and studs have each obtained a CKC recognized title before they have their first litter. I am actively involved with promoting this breed. Our dogs are shown actively in conformation as well as performance events. We also participate in Temperament Testing and other interesting and fun events. We have a limited breeding program in which we produce superior bred Dobermans. We usually have 1-2 litters per year.

Homes we look for

We look for committed and active owners. Doberman are not for everyone. They require a lot of time and a lot of training and socializing. They thrive on structure and routine. We look for families that are committed to offer those things and who truly want another member of the family.
