Gatehouse Perm. Reg'd

Gatehouse Dobermans is a respected, Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) permanently registered Doberman Pinscher breeding program based in Ontario dedicated to producing healthy, balanced dogs that exemplify breed standard type, temperament, and versatility. With decades of involvement in the Doberman community and multiple Best in Show and obedience-titled dogs, Gatehouse combines tradition, transparency, and responsible breeding practices to support the long-term future of the breed.

Founded under the “Gatehouse” kennel name in 2002 and granted permanent CKC registration in 2012, Gatehouse Dobermans has maintained a continuous commitment to high standards of breeding and mentorship. Their Dobermans have achieved success across performance venues — passing Temperament Tests, Working Aptitude Evaluations, earning Canine Good Neighbour and Obedience titles, and serving as valued service dogs in companion roles.

Gatehouse adheres to the Doberman Pinscher Club of America’s Code of Ethics, placing emphasis on structural soundness, stable temperament, and overall health. Prospective breeding dogs are fully health tested, and results are shared transparently with prospective puppy owners. Recognizing that health is multifactorial, Gatehouse provides a written health guarantee with each puppy and works closely with families to support lifelong well-being.
