Nikmor is a small hobby kennel based in Quispamsis, NB. I got my first Golden Retriever in 1998 and, well, it kind of went downhill from there! Goldens are a true passion of mine. All our girls live in our house and are part of our family first and foremost. They even sleep in bed! We take breeding very seriously. All our breeding dogs have their health clearances and DNA testing, and get their eyes checked yearly. Our puppies are raised in our home and are exposed to many people, noises, and experiences. We do not breed often, and for that reason, we do not keep a large waiting list for puppies. Most of our puppies go to friends and friends of friends. We want all of our puppies to have the best possible life. We love receiving updates and pics from puppy families. A lot of our puppy families become family friends. If you are interested in a puppy, feel free to reach out; however, be aware that we do not breed often. We have one, MAYBE two litters a year. Our puppies stay with us for 8 weeks before they are ready to join their new family. All puppies are sold on a non-breeding CKC registration. We do not allow families to pick their puppy. Puppies are matched with their family based on family needs and the puppy’s temperament. Golden Retrievers are a passion and hobby to us. We don’t breed often. When we do it is with the hope of there being a potential show or performance puppy for us to keep. For this reason, I don’t keep a long waiting list. If you are looking for a puppy today or tomorrow, we are not the breeder for you. Our litters are planned well in advance

<p>Curlious Reg’d Manchester Terriers is a dedicated preservation breeding program focused on the rare and elegant Standard Manchester Terrier, proudly located near Moncton, New Brunswick. Founded and operated by Kate Barnett, Curlious has been an active part of the purebred community since 2006, with its Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) kennel name permanently registered in 2025 — a mark of sustained ethical breeding and ongoing involvement in the sport.</p><p> </p><p>Kate’s lifelong passion for dogs began in childhood and grew into decades of showing, breeding, and training across multiple breeds. While her early involvement was with toy breeds, she was drawn to the Manchester Terrier in 2020, a rare, intelligent, and versatile terrier deserving greater visibility and thoughtful stewardship in Canada. After connecting with breed experts and welcoming her first Manchester in 2021, Curlious shifted its focus entirely to this distinctive black-and-tan terrier, emphasizing temperament, health, structure, and versatility in both home and performance environments.</p><p> </p><p>At the heart of the Curlious program is a commitment to responsible, preservation-focused breeding. Each litter is carefully planned with both the immediate generation and the future of the breed in mind, ensuring puppies contribute positively to Manchester Terrier genetics and type. Puppies are raised in-home with extensive socialization and early foundational training, preparing them for life as loyal companions, competitive performance dogs, or show prospects.</p><p> </p><p>Health screening and genetic testing are core practices, with results reported to public databases such as the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) to promote transparency and informed decision-making for future breedings. Curlious is deeply involved in the broader dog community. Kate serves as Secretary/Treasurer for the Canadian Manchester Terrier Club and holds leadership roles with the Moncton Kennel Club, embodying a commitment to education, breed advocacy, and continuous improvement. She actively competes in conformation and performance events, keeping dogs mentally and physically engaged — a reflection of the versatility Manchester Terriers are known for. Our family welcomed our first Portuguese Water Dog, Sadie, from BigBay’s Lorraine Wilson in 2008. We chose this breed because my husband and son had allergies to most dogs, and after researching and meeting Lorraine’s dogs, we were captivated by their energy, joyfulness, and intelligence, making a PWD a perfect match for our active family. Lorraine quickly became more than just a breeder; she became my mentor, friend, and trainer. She introduced me to various aspects of dog training, including agility, rally, and my greatest passion—WATER. Nothing was better than a group of us coming together, doing what we loved, and having fun with our dogs. With Sadie, we celebrated her Champion Title, bred her, and from her litter, we welcomed Stella. Together, Sadie and Stella taught us invaluable lessons, turning every outing into an adventure. Whether it was the simple joy of a long walk, the triumph of earning titles, or the deep bond of unconditional love, they left an unforgettable mark on our hearts. My beloved girls and cherished family members have since crossed the rainbow bridge, but their spirit and love remain with us always. Since Sadie and Stella we added Etta (BigBay At Last) to our family in 2019 and through very sad circumstances with the passing of our dear friend Lorraine, we added Billie (BigBay Lady Sings the Blues) and from their litters, Pearl and Hazel joined the Endless River Family. I am deeply grateful for the Portuguese Water Dogs that have enriched my life, the wonderful friends I’ve made along the way, and the invaluable mentorship of these respected Portuguese Water Dog breeders — Drewsar, LunaNova, and New River, all longtime and dedicated preservation breeders. We were then thrilled to announce the addition of two Drewsar girls to the Endless River family. Tilly, registered name "Drewsar DownEast Waltzing Matilda at EndlessRiver," earned her championship title with style and grace, exemplifying the excellence of the Drewsar breeding program. More recently, we welcomed Zip, another beautiful Drewsar dog, and we eagerly anticipate the great adventures that lie ahead with her. Our puppies are lovingly raised in our home, where they are treated as part of our family. From day 3 to 16, we begin Early Neurological Stimulation exercises to promote healthy development, along with Early Scent Introduction to enhance their nose awareness and confidence. We also expose them to a variety of Whelping Box Novelty Items and provide ongoing socialization through interactions with people, other dogs, and new experiences. Throughout their time with us, we send families regular updates and photos, from birth until the day they go to their new homes. Along with a going-home package, we offer helpful training tips and handouts, and we're always just a phone call away for any support.
