Located in Annapolis County, Nova Scotia, our program has been built on a deep love for the breed and a commitment to producing dogs that thrive as beloved family members and capable partners in life’s adventures. Australian Shepherds are celebrated for their versatility, loyalty, and sharp minds — traits that guide everything we do at Malka Aussies. Our goal is to preserve the breed’s natural strengths while raising puppies with stable, friendly temperaments and the potential for success both in homes and in performance activities. Our Philosophy At Malka Aussies, responsible breeding means: • Selecting dogs with healthy, balanced temperaments • Prioritizing structural soundness and correct breed type • Encouraging genetic health and longevity • Cultivating Aussie character — brains, energy, and devotion A Lifelong Commitment Malka Aussies believes that placing a puppy is just the start of a lifelong relationship. Breeder Philosophy
How we breed — and why.
Why this breed
I got my first aussie for my 8th birthday. It was a match made in heaven. Active, playful, intelligent, everything 8 year old me needed.
What sets us apart
I do the most health testing in Canada on my entire program, not just one or two dogs. My dogs are known for their exceptional temperaments, intelligence and beauty. We believe in moving forward and doing right by our breed.
Homes we look for
Dedicated homes who truly enjoy having a dog under foot all the time. This breed is highly intelligent and needs someone willing to keep their brains happy.
