Kylone Kennels

Kylone Kennels is a dedicated, Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) registered breeding program located in Champion, Alberta, specializing in the preservation and thoughtful development of the Shetland Sheepdog. With a strong commitment to responsible breeding practices, Kylone focuses on maintaining the Sheltie’s hallmark qualities — intelligence, elegance, sound structure, and devoted temperament.

At Kylone Kennels, breeding decisions are made with long-term stewardship in mind. Litters are planned selectively and only when the program is looking to retain a puppy to further strengthen and enhance the kennel’s lines. This intentional approach ensures that every pairing is carefully considered for health, temperament, and adherence to breed standard.

Shetland Sheepdogs are celebrated for their keen intelligence, trainability, and loyal companionship. At Kylone, puppies are raised in a nurturing environment where early socialization and positive exposure help lay the foundation for confident, well-adjusted dogs. Whether destined for the show ring, performance activities, or as cherished family companions, each puppy represents the kennel’s commitment to quality over quantity.

Kylone Kennels welcomes inquiries from individuals and families who are interested in learning more about the breed and responsible ownership. With transparency, education, and lifelong support at the forefront of the program, Kylone exemplifies ethical breeding rooted in preservation, passion, and integrity.
