COAST MOUNTAIN ENTLEBUCHERS

Entlebuchers are the smallest of the Swiss Mountain Dogs. ...but don’t let their smaller size fool you! “Entles” are strong and active dogs, originally bred to drive cattle in the Swiss Alps. Highly intelligent, loyal, and devoted, they are known as the “smiling dogs.” They are happiest when they have a job to do alongside their people. This high-energy breed requires daily physical and mental activity (such as hiking, agility, or playtime) to thrive. They closely bond with their families and are very content to snuggle after a good workout. They can be aloof with strangers. Due to their strong attachment to their family, they should not be left alone for long periods of time.
