What it is

A single animal-derived glandular ingredient containing pancreatic digestive enzymes.

Why it's used

Pancreatic enzymes support digestion of fats, proteins and carbohydrates and have established veterinary use in pancreatic enzyme replacement for dogs with exocrine pancreatic insufficiency.

Safety notes: Pancreatic enzyme products should be used with veterinary guidance when treating suspected or diagnosed exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. Oral irritation or bleeding has been reported with enzyme supplementation and may require dose adjustment.
