About Tilted Barn Pet Co.

Kim and Nicole's story began in 2005 when Nicole was hired as a summer student at Farm Fresh Pet Foods, then a small farmer's market brand that Kim distributed for her family. They clicked instantly and quickly became inseparable.In 2007, when the original owner announced he was stepping away from the business, their first thought was, "What are we going to feed our dogs?" Their second? "We should buy it. How hard could it be?" For years, the business was their after-hours passion project, built during evenings, weekends, and nap times while raising young families. As it grew, so did their vision. In 2017, together they decided it was time to stop treating the business like a side project and go all in. They expanded the product line, doubled down on customer service, and personally knocked on doors to grow the brand across Canada.In 2022, Farm Fresh Pet Foods became Tilted Barn Pet Co.—a fresh name that better reflected their fun, authentic brand.Today, Tilted Barn Pet Co. proudly crafts small-batch, single-protein dog treats using clean, simple Canadian ingredients sourced from the Canadian food market.
