Why it scored this way

Led down by Cocamidopropyl Betaine
-3.2

Cocamidopropyl Betaine (Amphoteric surfactant) carries the heaviest documented hazard profile in this formula and sets the ceiling for the ingredient score.

1 ingredient not yet in the Clean Wise reference library
-1.5

Clean Wise scores conservatively where a printed ingredient has no reference record yet. This is a Clean Wise research gap, not a manufacturer failing.

Scored as: Dish product
-9.0

Used on bowls and dishes a dog eats from. Rinsing is what stands between the formula and the food bowl.

Rinsed before contact resumes
+1.5

Normal use rinses the formula away before a dog contacts the surface, coat or bowl.

Packaging is itself an ingestion hazard
-1.0

Pods, sheets, wipes and concentrate bottles are swallowed by dogs. Storage matters as much as the formula.

Exact, complete manufacturer ingredient list
0.0

Transparency measures how much of the formula the maker publishes, not how good the formula is. A fully disclosed poor formula still earns full transparency points.

No SDS or technical document on file
0.0

Clean Wise has not located a current safety data sheet or technical sheet for this exact product.

Primary manufacturer source
+2.0

Product data was captured from the manufacturer's own product page rather than a reseller listing.

Certification: not certified
0.0

No relevant independent product certification is on file.
